Domain Name Knowledge Base (DNKB.org) received a major website upgrade today.  The site’s content management system was migrated from Joomla to WordPress.  Moreover, the new fresh and clean template design will make the site more appealing to the average 9,000 visitors that DNKB.org receives every month from those who want to learn about Domain Names.

The site was powered by Joomla 1.5.24, a popular content management system used to build websites.  Migrating to WordPress was essential to better optimize the site for search engine friendliness – thanks to the All In One SEO Pack plugin.

Although Joomla supports SEO-friendly URLs, it still lacks many of the important features that DNKB.org needs to perform better on the web.  WordPress was the best option.
